Alison has her Master of Social Work degree through the University at Buffalo and is licensed through New York State. She has spent many hours studying these challenging and poorly understood disorders after finding a lack of comprehensive knowledge and treatment about these disorders in the Buffalo area. Why seek treatment? You may have never talked to anyone about your struggles. You may have asked for help in the past from people who knew little about these disorders and did not know how to help. There is now improved knowledge about behavioral therapy and how it can be used to treat these disorders. Know that while I focus my practice on body focused disorders, I offer a holistic approach and have worked with individuals with depression, anxiety, and survivors of trauma. You are not alone.
